The Longridge Social Enterprise Company,
the Longridge Partnership
and the Town Council


Longridge Social Enterprise Company (LSEC)

Longridge Social Enterprise Company Ltd (LSEC) is a community owned, non-profit company limited by guarantee. Community ownership is secured by individuals and organisations within the community becoming members of the company by registering as members.

The Mission statement of the Company is to provide the people and businesses of Longridge and District with a range of high quality services for economic, social and environmental improvement.

In particular, LSEC owns and runs the Civic Hall.

The Town Council is a member of the Company and is formally represented on the management board by the current mayor for the time being or their nominated representative.


The Longridge Partnership

The Longridge Partnership is open to representatives of all groups in Longridge, statutory, public, private and the Voluntary, Community and Faith sector.

Its aim is to ensure the joined up provision of services, improvements and effort within the area and to provide links to the Ribble Valley Partnership and the County Strategic Partnership.

It is the author of the Longridge Action Plan which is reviewed and refreshed regularly.

    To improve the vitality and viability of Longridge

    To improve transport provision, accessibility and infrastructure

    To improve community facilities, services and safety

    To promote Longridge’s heritage and make better use of its physical assets

    To improve and create more facilities for young people
